It was a wonderful opportunity to be a part of the D.R.E.A.M.S. experience. A big thanks goes to everyone included in the making of these trips a complete success. Hard work from Mr. Hall backed by and embraced by school administration, staff and students makes this program run so smoothly. Special mention is reserved for our “man on the ground” in the Dominic Republic, Mr. John Labatte. The students had an opportunity to contribute their hard work in actually building houses. Also, the students are great ambassadors for the school, community and Canada. Sometimes I wonder who benefits the most, is it the local people or our students. On a personal note, I was humbled by the chance to make a difference in the dental care for the children of Dominican Republic. Keep up the good work.
Don Hall reports that this is the first ever that a dentist has traveled with the 12th graders on a D.R.E.A.M.S. mission trip.
