There was a Perez (Paris) Packard listed in the 1820 census who had a male child under 10 who could have been Shepard Packard.

An administration for the estate of Perez Packard was filed in Bristol County, Massachusetts 8 February 1822. In this document, Betsey Packard, widow of the deceased Perez Packard, declined to administer her husband’s estate and requested that Captain Elijah Smith be appointed administration in her stead. Unfortunately, this record did not contain any reference or additional information regarding Shepard Packard.

The only Perez Packard that I could find on Ancestry.com died in 1807 and could not have been the father of Shepard. Is there anyone with information about a Perez Packard who could have been the Father of Shepard, born in 1818?
